The best night of our lives

The magic of Ireland truly swept two young lover off their feet, made us cry and yearn for more. Somehow Ireland took us in, two travelers, two lovers, two poets, two honeymooners. It all started at the Ceann Sibeal Hotel in the dingle peninsula. As we drove through dingle we could not find the hotel... That's because the "dingle peninsula" is not "dingle" the town where all the pubs/tourists/music are. So we drove out of town about 15 minutes to Ceann Sibeal Hotel, worried about how we might get to dingle where all the fun and adventure was.

In the lobby as we were checking in we asked I there was a shuttle bus to dingle? The hostess said no and we would have to buy a taxi. As Lauren was talking out loud saying that maybe perhaps we could find a couple to split the taxi with John Smith and Paddy Downs (www.johnsmithmusic.com) took notice. John said they they would gladly take a couple of "free loaders" to dingle and a bunch of happy Americans from his tour joined in.

They asked why we were here and when they found out we were actually "honey mooners" everyone was joyful and we talked and laughed and met up in about 3 hours for the night.

Once we got into town John and his group went into a bar with music and we decided to go a bit further and we went into brewery gate bar.
There were only 3 men and a young bartender sitting there with no music on and they looked at us.
We were Lookin good music so when I said we might continue on in search of music one of the men started singing right away.

It was hilarious and we sat down for a good 45 minutes with some real Irish men. They told us to go to the Courthouse bar in dingle for some good music and it was amazing.
The courthouse bar in dingle Ireland has a singer with a beautiful voice and she just so happened to sing a song about love and marriage.
Af. After a few songs we went into the Mighty Session of Dingle Ireland. It just so happened that John Smith was taking a session while the main musicians were taking a break. He dedicated his new song of love that we wrote to his wife to us the new "honeymooners". It was love song I was smart enough to record with my iPhone. John is such an amazing tour guide we are told he took his tour to the most beautiful sea side cliff scenery and stood with his back to the ocean playing songs to the guests.
Af....After John played and the band came on again the band dedicated another song to us a equally as beautiful whih I recorded. Time flew by and we ended up getting a ride back with John and his tour. But the night didn't end their because John and Paddy let us buy them a beer at the Ceann Sibeal Hotel which is by the way the most authentic best kept secret hotel/area where they still speak old Gaelic which only 3% of the country now speaks. That was intact why they were their. Anyway we talked all about our trip and what to do and what to see all the way until 1:30AM. It was absolutely magical!!!!!
The hotel was great in Dingell and check out this full Irish breakfast they served us.
Thank you Ireland for all your magic
For your men and women who so well know it
They wink & smile to let you hold it
Extending life for just a moment
They sing to you with all their music
They write love songs that surely prove it
Thank you Ireland For your closeness
We have found to be the truest
You Safe harbor love through the bluest
When Rain clouds come with wicked movements
You hold your own and make the newness
Your Green and free with all your fullness
So let us learn your magic fluent
Let us swim through all your current
Let us make love in your burren
Forever young & Forever learning
All your luck it's not a token
It's more than words just left unspoken
It holds true when our hearts are open
It mends our wounds when we are broken
So Thank you Ireland and never change
If I leave then may I say
Ill keep a memory of you today
In my heart you will always stay
